Children's Theatre, TBA
Whoville is experiencing a seemingly unstoppable crime wave—and who, oh who will save Christmas? CTC’s all-time audience favorite musical brings alive the songs, the story and the Seuss in mega-doses of spirited storytelling and fanciful rhymes. Come boo the most loathed Christmas villain—and woo-hoo! for a beloved holiday tradition guaranteed to grow anyone’s heart three sizes.
This performance runs two hours with an intermission. More information about this performance and other details can be found online at www.childrenstheatre.org . Limited food is available for sale at the theatre, so we suggest a light snack on the ride to the theatre. Please plan to meet at Children’s Theatre at 9:45am to pick up your tickets. We cannot be seated until our entire group has arrived. Seating is on a first come basis. Classes will not be held on Friday, November 17th due to the field trip.
Orchestra Hall, TBA
These fun and innovative concert experiences make a great introduction to classical music for young children. Four and five-year-olds are invited onstage with Minnesota Orchestra musicians to hear a narrated concert designed especially for children. The other half of the program is the Sound Factory, a guided workshop where children are encouraged to touch, play, and make sounds with real instruments in the Orchestra Hall lobby.
Everyone is welcome to attend, as long as your child is four by the concert date. The age requirement is a Minnesota Orchestra rule, and we need to adhere to it. Therefore, we reserve tickets annually, so if your child is not old enough to attend this year, he or she will have the opportunity the following year.
